Larnaca and Pafos Airport Extensions (Phase II)
We have joined Bouygues Bâtiment International on the Phase II extensions of Larnaca and Paphos international airports in Cyprus, leading MEP design coordination, procurement and delivery across a landmark programme set to more than double the island's combined passenger capacity. The latest chapter in our 26-year partnership with Bouygues.
Currently underway as part of the Phase II development of Cyprus's two international airports, our role on the Larnaca and Paphos extensions is the latest milestone in our partnership with Bouygues Bâtiment International, a collaboration spanning over two decades, five countries, and more than thirty projects. We lead MEP design coordination, procurement and delivery across the programme, working alongside specialist licensed partners on the scope each airport requires. Bouygues is acting as general contractor under design-build agreements with Hermes Airports.
The programme will expand Larnaca's annual passenger capacity from approximately 8 million to 12.5 million and Paphos's from around 3 million to 5 million, more than doubling the island's combined capacity and transforming Cyprus's position as a Mediterranean tourism destination. For DOUMMAR, this engagement also marks a permanent foothold within the European space, a milestone made possible by a partnership grounded in consistent delivery and mutual trust, and by a simple commitment we made at the very beginning: that we would always show up, and we would always deliver. The Cyprus airports are not simply another project; they are the culmination of everything that partnership has built.
