Kumawu District Hospital
We delivered full MEP works for the Kumawu District Hospital in Ghana's Ashanti Region, a modern healthcare facility forming part of the same NMS Infrastructure and UK Export Finance-backed programme as our work in Fomena.
Delivered between 2022 and 2024 alongside our sister project at Fomena District Hospital, the Kumawu District Hospital formed part of the NMS Infrastructure initiative to expand high-quality healthcare across West Africa, supported by UK Export Finance. Located in the Ashanti Region of Ghana, the facility was designed and built to bring modern, well-equipped healthcare infrastructure to the surrounding community. Our scope covered the full MEP package — electrical, plumbing, HVAC, low-current, and ICT installations — consistent with the healthcare-grade standards applied across the NMS programme. Taken together, DOUMMAR's contributions to both Ghanaian hospitals under this programme, and to two further hospitals in Ivory Coast, represent a meaningful and sustained commitment to healthcare delivery and sustainable development in West Africa.
